Greater New Orleans Italian Cultural Society
We were asked to design a new web site for a fledgling non-profit, the Greater New Orleans Italian Cultural Society. Like most non-profits, it will be updated by a staff comprised of volunteers of varying degrees of expertise on the Web. We decided to base the site on WordPress and employed the Event Calender, Role Manager, cFormsII and NextGen Gallery plugins. The NextGen Gallery plugin is also driving the Flash-based rotating banners. Banner graphics and all other site graphics are by Pixelita’s resident evil graphic artist, Ivan Minic.

CORE Capital
We were asked by financial wizard Greg Wallace to create an investment site for him. We decided that CMS Made Simple would be the best solution to help him and his staff maintain the site once it’s up and running. We basically took a PowerPoint presentation and broke it down into static pages. There will be new Time Weighted Reports posted each month, so CMS Made Simple’s News module is perfect for that. All graphic artwork is by Pixelita’s Ivan Minic.

Dallas 24 Hour Club
We were asked to create a WordPress-powered web site for a Dallas, Texas 501c charity organization focused on helping recovering alcoholics and drug addicts get back on their feet and become productive once more. Because the site would be maintained by a handful of volunteers, it had to be user-friendly. We tweaked Darren Hoyt’s Mimbo magazine layout WordPress theme, adding Ivan Minic’s own unique graphics in the header and several custom buttons seen throughout the site. We used CForms II to create the intricate forms used in the Join and Donate pages along with the User Role plugin to help manage the various volunteers who will be helping to keep the site updated. We wish the Dallas 24 Hour Club the best of luck in its very worthwhile endeavors.

MusicLyricsSongLyrics.com
Ivan created the design for this music and song lyrics blog. The platform is WordPress (of course), and the client wanted an “edgy”, “vibrant” design. In addition to the stunning graphics found in the blog design, Ivan created several custom desktop wallpapers.

Bald Sports Guy Blog
Ivan Minic was asked to create the design for Jay Rosenthel’s Bald Sports Guy Blog. Now being bald himself, Ivan was poised to make sure that baldies are given their due. Our client already had an existing site; he just wanted a blog to go with it. We created the blog with the same look and feel of the main site, added some of Ivan’s graphic arts touches (custom ad banners and buttons), some WordPress plugins, and the site is good to go. And remember, folks, Bald is the new Beautiful!

The American Mind :: Reloaded.
Sean wanted a new look to go with his new WP Blog. So we retired his original design, the first one we did for him, which was running on Movable Type. Ivan Minic designed the header graphic and Joni Mueller coded the stylesheet and layout elements.

LifeTime Club (Belgrade, Serbia)
Ivan was asked to create a design for LifeTimeClub, a spa, jacuzzi and massage center in Belgrade, Serbia. This Flash-based web site features images of what LifeTimeClub has to offer. The site is lean and sells the club’s services with compelling imagery. [Site now offline.]

Bisenija Terescenko.
Ivan created the design for the web site of Belgrade artisan Bisenija Terescenko who specializes in mosaics. Her intricate, hand wrought mosaics grace several public buildings in Belgrade and several churches throughout Serbia. Her artwork has been on display all over Serbia, most recently in September 2006 in Belgrade. The design is simple, almost minimalistic, in order to allow the artist’s work to take center stage.

AutoOpreme.com (Belgrade, Serbia).
Ivan created the site design for Auto Oprema, a parts company located in Ivan’s hometown of Belgrade, Serbia. This is basically an online calling card or brochure site. No fancy CMS, just plain HTML and Ivan’s usual graphic wizardry.

Finding Her Life :: Reloaded.
Jennifer is a long time customer of Pixelita Designs. Throughout the years, we'’ve created several skins or themes for Jennifer’’s blog, Finding Her Life, first in MovableType and later, in WordPress. But Jenn wanted to retire all her themes and stick with one, but she wanted a new one, a fresh design from Ivan. So we present Finding Her Life :: Reloaded. The image is from iStockPhoto. The banner font is True Type Minya Nouvelle and is employed via a WordPress plugin called Image Headlines.

Little Black Dress Designs.
Ivan was asked by Little Black Dress Designs to assist with their site redo. The site’s concept of simplicity, elegance and taste were captured in the starkly elegant monochromatic design. Responsible for graphic design only.

Responsible for the redesign of JoeMelson.com, artist/singer/songwriter web site. All custom graphics and artwork (based on client-provided images), custom desktop wallpaper.

Responsible for the redesign of Z World (small business web site, Houston, Texas). All original graphics and artwork. The site is driven by PHP Website.

Responsible for the redesign of San Antonio, Texas real estate web site, Cowboy Ranch Sales. See the before screenshot as well. Owner wanted a three column layout with plenty of room for his newsfeeds, with punchier colors than the original site had. All custom graphics and artwork.
